Bar Harbor KOA is minutes from Acadia National Park, the Nova Scotia ferry and historic Bar Harbor. All of Mount Desert Island's attractions and activities are at your doorstep. Bar Harbor KOA's 3500 feet of oceanfront offers panoramic views over Western Bay and gentle ocean breezes, setting the stage for glorious sunsets. Apple, oak, shadblow and evergreen trees flourish throughout Bar Harbor KOA's 32 acres, while wild rugosa roses dot the landscape with constant summer color. These abundant trees and shrubs provide shelter and food for a host of wildlife and birds. Seals often entertain while basking in the sun on offshore rocks.


Campsites range from open, grassy, and shaded oceanfront sites, to secluded spots nestled among the trees. Maine's picturesque coastline may be enjoyed from most of Bar Harbor KOA's 200 campsites.

Pets:Quiet, well behaved pets are permitted. A dog walk area is provided for your convenience. Pets may not be left unattended at sites. All animals brought onto the campground are the full responsibility of the owner.
