MOUNT DESERT ISLAND HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The Mount Desert Island Historical Society works to keep, discover, and celebrate the history of Mount Desert Island. The society is a center for research and education and presents exhibits at the Old School House and Museum on Sound Drive in Mount Desert and at the Somesville Museum and Gardens in Somesville.
