The Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce announces a Taste of Bar Harbor. A food festival featuring our local restaurants, cafés, and others who offer the epicurean delights visitors enjoy in Bar Harbor.

The festival kicks off on Saturday, May 12 with a Pub Tour 6-9 pm at participating restaurants. Purchase your beer glass, wrist band and 10 sample tickets at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce on the corner of Cottage and Main Street then take a self-guided tour of participating restaurants sampling their beers and wines.

On Mother's Day, May 13, enjoy Brunch in Bar Harbor at restaurants serving breakfast and brunch on this day only.

Get out all week long for the $20.12 Menu! Participating restaurants will be offering something for $20.12; whether it be an appetizer and glass of wine for $20.12 or 2-for-$20.12, or a 3-course meal for $20.12.

Thursday night is Dessert Night. Tour participating venues and vote for your favorite to award the Cupcake Trophy.

On Friday, May 18 we are bringing back the Chef's Table. Experience at 7-course dinner and pairings at one of four exclusive restaurants. Chefs will be giving tours, demonstrations and sharing recipes. The cost is $85 per person and is limited to 40 seats. Contact Melissa at the Bar Harbor Chamber of Commerce to reserve your seat. Your undisclosed dining location will be revealed at a reception from 5-6 pm at Fiore Artisan Olive Oils & Vinegars.

The festival wraps up on Saturday morning with the Sidewalk Stroll and Craft Fair sponsored by the Bar Harbor Merchants Association in downtown Bar Harbor from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. One can enjoy a sampling of many tastes and flavors from some of your favorite restaurants as well as some you may not have tried before.
