The Maison Suisse Inn, built in the late 19th century, was designed by architect Fred Savage. Built as a Norheast Harbor summer cottage, Maison Suisse has the eccentric charm and inviting interior spaces characteristic of the Shingle Style of architecture. Located right in the village of Northeast Harbor, Maison Suisse is set back from Main Street by a rustic garden

There are ten guest rooms and suites, all with private baths. Maison Suisse Inn has been recommended in Travel and Leisure, Glamour, A Woman's Day, and other publications.

The garden is the legacy of a former owner, who came to this country from Switzerland, and gave the cottage its name. Maison Suisse has firplaced "common rooms" for guests to enjoy, as well as outside garden seating.
