Smuggler's Den is located on the "quiet side" of Mount Desert Island and is close to the starting point for many of the hiking trails in Acadia Nation Park. Enjoy our 22 foot by 44 foot heated swimming pool complete with slide and kiddie pool. Or, it is just a 20 minute walk to the sand beach at Echo Lake in Acadia National Park.
We have a 4 acre recreation field with a horseshoe pit and a playground. We have wooded and open sites with or without water and electric for tents, pop-ups and small trailers. For large trailers, RV's and 5th wheels we have open sites (many of which border the trees) with full hook-ups or water and electric (30 amp).
We offer AAA discounts, and seasonal and group rates are available.
