Acadia Sunset Oceanfront Cottage is a 3-bedroom, 3-bath cottage on the Quiet Side of Mt. Desert Island's Acadia National Park.

All the amenities, any time of year.

Acadia Sunset Oceanfront Cottage is a private cottage on the quiet side of the Island. On the shore of Duck Cove in Tremont, Acadia Sunset Oceanfront Cottage accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, each with its own private bath.

The Oak Room on the first floor, with queen bed, is furnished in sturdy 19th century New England oak, with a handmade quilt and adjacent full bath. Upstairs, the Blue Room is a bit more playful with its wave and buoy décor, full and twin beds, and a private 3/4 bath with adjustable shower.
While all three bedrooms boast a view of ocean or mountain or both, the Waterfall Room upstairs features the same stunning view shared by the living and dining rooms, looking out to the mouth of the cove across Blue Hill Bay to Swan's Island and beyond. A queen bed and his and hers dressers complement the private 3/4 bath with adjustable shower to complete your simple, yet comfortable stay. Oversized towels in all the baths add a touch of indulgence.
Add to that a fully equipped kitchen, private steps to your own stretch of shore, a porch with cedar glider, a gas barbecue grille, CD/Radio/TV/VCR, a good collection of short stories - a ping-pong table in the game room downstairs, board games, puzzles, and cards for a rainy day or cozy night - and you've got everything you need for your vacation, special occasion, getaway, or holiday.

Moments from Bass Harbor Head Light, Ship's Harbor, Seawall, and Wonderland; 7 minutes from the shops and restaurants of Southwest Harbor, and an easy drive to Park Loop Road and Bar Harbor, you can enjoy the beauty of the park and the bustle of town - without having to sleep in the thick of it.
