Join us aboard WHALE WATCHER on a 3 1/2 hour adventure into the Gulf of Maine in search of the world's largest mammals, the great whales. Humpback, Fin, Right and Minke Whales are all found in this area. We leave Bar Harbor through the Porcupine Islands, past Egg Rock Lighthouse & Acadia National Park and venture some 20 miles to sea. An experienced naturalist will answer your questions and provide an informative background on whales, other marine mammals and the many varieties of sea birds (including Puffins) we encounter.

WHALE WATCHER was built in the USA specifically for whale watching. The vessel is 105 feet in length with 2 generators and 3 main engines producing over 2,000 horsepower. WHALE WATCHER provides a safe, stable platform to observe and photograph marine mammals without the pitching motion of catamarans and smaller vessels at sea. WHALE WATCHER features two clean rest rooms, state of the art electronics & navigation systems and a full galley featuring hot/cold food and beverages. WHALE WATCHER has plenty of room to move around on the upper and lower observation decks and ample seating in our fully heated cabin.
